Fab Festival 2025 will take place on July 11, 2025, in the Křižík Pavilions and the surrounding park at Výstaviště Praha, offering visitors a unique day full of creativity, technology, and hands-on learning.
The area will transform into a hub of innovation, digital fabrication, and interactive education for all ages. The festival is organized by Make More in collaboration with Výstaviště Praha a.s. as part of the prestigious global FAB25 Czechia conference, which this year is hosted by the Czech Republic under the auspices of the President and the Prime Minister.
Fab Festival is open to everyone – whether you’re an experienced maker or just curious – and invites participants to explore, create, and learn something new. Visitors can look forward to seeing five mobile FabLabs, including the FabLab Brno and Škoda Auto’s EDU.Lab trucks, both packed with creative workshops focused on digital production, 3D printing, and basic programming.
The event will also feature an Art & Design Expo with free installations from the renowned Prague-based Signal Festival and a panel discussion with artists on how digital fabrication is changing creative expression. In the Prusa Zone, visitors will meet the team behind Prusa Research and PrusaLab, explore their latest innovations, and learn more about the world of 3D printing.
Other highlights include an open FabLab Pavilion with hands-on mini-workshops, an outdoor area filled with playful activities and games, and a workshop zone led by Czech and international makers from the Maker Faire and Fab Foundation communities. Global Kids & Make Edu, an English-language section for children, will be led by educators from Japan, Kenya, Italy, and beyond, combining creativity, hands-on learning, and cultural exchange. The program also features a Speakers Stage with presentations and discussions on topics such as the future of 3D printing, the global impact of FabLabs, and digital education.
Fab Festival 2025 is a perfect opportunity to connect creativity, learning, and technology in an open and welcoming atmosphere. It offers inspiration, new skills, and experiences for both children and adults. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is free to attend.
