Festival of breweries

On Friday, May 23, from 12:00 to 22:00, the second edition of the Festival of Flying and Small Breweries will take place in front of the legendary Cross club in Prague’s Holešovice district.

This event is becoming an increasingly popular showcase of brewing artistry, offering visitors the chance to taste dozens of carefully selected beer specials – from bold IPAs and refreshing sours to rich stouts and traditional lagers.

The festival focuses on so-called flying breweries – breweries without a permanent base, brewing wherever space is available. Despite (or perhaps because of) this nomadic nature, they maintain their own identity, recipes, and style. Sometimes they settle in their own facility, other times they remain as free as birds – and their creativity is often extraordinary because of it. This independence and creative freedom often bring flavors and combinations you won’t find in regular production.

The festival thus offers a unique opportunity to discover original and limited batches from Czech and international craft breweries. The atmosphere will be enhanced by the outdoor setting in front of Cross – an ideal place to meet friends, enjoy tastings, and share a love of craft beer.

The festival “ticket” will be a commemorative festival glass for 100 CZK, which visitors can take home as a souvenir. Just a reminder: anyone who loves honest beer and isn’t afraid of new flavors should not miss this event.
