Turkish Bath Walk

26.11.2022

The Experience Balkan team is preparing diverse cultural programs this year, including a Turkish bath walk. On November 26, Saturday, during the walk in Tabán, you will gain an insight into the history of the former Rác City, discover its most important locations and its world-famous spas. Afterwards, you will visit the Rudas Spa and experience the Turkish spa culture, while listening to Balkan stories.

In the fall of 2022 (on a Saturday), the Experience Balkan team will once again organize the highly successful Tabán+Rudas spa walk after the Király and Veli Bej Baths.
During our spa walks in Tabán, we will get to know what happened in the former Rácváros, its most important locations, buildings, inhabitants, peoples, points of interest and, of course, its world-famous baths.
After that, in the Rudas Spa, guided by our staff, we will visit the world-famous “Green Column Bath” of Szokollu Musztafa, completed in 1556, which the Serbians and Bosnians of Taban call the “Rudna-ilidzse”.
In the spa, we get to know and experience the Turkish spa culture up close, we tell Balkan stories, and freshen up together.
We open the wellness day with delicious Serbian fruit spirits, and close the authentic bath with “Balkan agape”, i.e. a dinner together at the Greek Floga Grill.
THERE IS NO EXACT DATE YET! -You can apply only after the exact date has been announced!
(If required – without bathing – you can also take part only in the Tabán walk!)
