Concerts for kids

To make sure the little ones don’t miss out on the fun, Kobuci has also thought of the kids, so throughout the summer they’re planning a variety of children’s concerts, of which we’ve put together a small selection:

8th of August: Hahó Band

It’s up to the adults to teach and educate the young ones, and we’re lucky to have such super-super, creative, friendly, open-minded and cultured musicians like the Hahó Band to help us do it! With many, many concerts behind them, as practicing dads they have plenty of experience with the little guys, so you can leave them to them! Cute songs not only for cute kids! Pet a dog, kiss a bug, hug a tree, pick up trash, you name it. Music above all!

15th of August: Kolompos Band

As one of the most popular bands among Hungarian children, their aim is the same as it was in the beginning: to familiarise children and their parents with Hungarian folk music, folk dance, old folk customs, in other words, all the unique cultural treasures that our ancestors have left us as a heritage.

29th of August: Kaláka

At Kaláka concerts, children are not only listeners but also participants in the performance. The musicians, all of whom attended the famous Lórántffy music primary school, which taught according to the concept of Zoltán Kodály, are both witnesses and conscious users of this musical education. At the concerts they present their special instruments. During their tours they also play with great success for children of other mother tongues.

4th of September: Xiloton Percussion Band

Their aim is to bring understandable, enjoyable music to children and audiences through the performance of percussion music, to convey the joy and possibilities of music education from pre-school age onwards and all that it means to them.
Their concert programme is rhythmic, melodic, engaging, interesting, exciting, virtuosic, funny, playful and serious, providing quality, light-hearted entertainment for everyone from the youngest to the oldest.
