Family Day at Millenáris

The “Hello Green Peter!” Family Day invites families to a cheerful, all-day spring celebration on March 15 at Millenáris Park in Budapest. The event celebrates the reopening of the newly renovated Green Peter Playground, a beloved folk-tale themed playground that comes to life with music, stories, and playful activities.

The iconic playground of the Millenáris will once again be filled with colorful wooden games, familiar fairy-tale characters, and a magical world where children can not only play but also become part of the stories themselves. Throughout the day, storytelling, music, and interactive activities ensure entertainment for the whole family.

From 2:00 PM, a lively fair atmosphere takes over the park with stilt-walking performers and playful street comedy, featuring tall “hussars” and entertaining performances.

One of the day’s most popular attractions will be the petting zoo, where children can meet friendly animals up close, observe them, and enjoy a calm and joyful experience in the springtime park setting.

The atmosphere of the event will be guided throughout the day by master of ceremonies László Gulyás.
