Rakpart Valyo Weekend

The Rakpart comes alive again this summer: as part of the RAKPART 2025 project, vibrant community programs, outdoor events, and open workshops await visitors every weekend from late June to mid-August along the Danube’s urban riverfront.

Organized in part by Valyo – City and River, the series aims to turn Budapest’s riverbank into a livable, inspiring public space. On July 19–20, the second Valyo Weekend offers a wide variety of activities — from yoga and upcycling workshops to live music and family-friendly creative sessions.

Saturday – July 19

• 7:45–8:45: Morning yoga session (meet at 7:30 in front of Viadukt Bar)

• 17:30–19:30: Paper art collage workshop with Hanikó

• 18:00–21:00: Life coaching conversations with Zsú

• 18:00–20:00: Upcycling toy-making workshop for kids

• 19:00–19:30: Slippery Boots concert

• 20:00–21:00: Kaptza concert

Sunday – July 20

• 7:45–8:45: Morning yoga session

• 9:00–10:00: Power Pilates class

• 16:00–22:00: Pannon Roller Disco – Riverside Rollout

• 17:30–20:30: Collage-making session: “Summer Memories”

• 18:30–19:30: JIAIDO movement meditation

• 19:00–20:00: Improv Theatre Jam (in English)

• 21:00–22:00: Góc x Rakpart DJ set (minimal, house, techno, breakbeat)

The RAKPART 2025 project seeks to reconnect city dwellers with the Danube and Budapest’s open spaces — be it for relaxation, exercise, music, or shared experiences. The event is free of charge, dog-friendly, and open to all ages. Locals can also contribute their own ideas and organize events, making the riverbank a true community space.
