Saint Ladislas Days at Kőbánya

Szent László Days is one of the largest annual cultural celebrations in Budapest’s Kőbánya district, offering three days of concerts, family activities, heritage programs and local traditions.

Centered around Szent László Square, the festival features craft workshops, folk games, cycling activities, local community programs and presentations by the district’s national minority groups. Families can enjoy children’s concerts, interactive activities and the popular Magical Music Train experience.

One of the festival’s highlights is the opportunity to explore Kőbánya’s famous underground cellar system through guided tours. Visitors can also join sightseeing walks, discover the historic Conti Chapel, climb the tower of St. Ladislaus Church or take part in special heritage bus tours around the district.

The music program includes performances by amor fati, Tutta Forza Band, Dirty Slippers, the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, DJ Dominique and the popular Hungarian rock band Hooligans. The opening evening also features a large-scale musical performance of Be Faithful Unto Death (Légy jó mindhalálig) by the Pannon Castle Theatre.
