The sweetest weekend of the year is back in Budapest! The Édes Napok Budapest – Chocolate and Sweets Festival returns for the second time in 2025, this year at a new location, the Vigadó Square and the Danube Promenade. Over three delicious days, visitors can indulge in a world of flavors, aromas, and creative desserts right in the heart of the city.

The Budapest edition of Édes Napok has become Europe’s fourth-largest open-air sweets festival, following Perugia, Tübingen, and Óbidos. The event is a true paradise for chocolate lovers and dessert enthusiasts, showcasing handmade chocolates, artisanal pastries, and the finest creations from Hungary’s best confectioners.

The festival highlights the growing excellence of the Hungarian chocolate and confectionery industry, whose producers have won some of Europe’s most prestigious awards in recent years. Visitors can sample treats from top local chocolate makers as well as renowned pastry shops — from timeless classics to innovative sweet creations.

For one weekend, the Vigadó Square and Danube Promenade will turn into a true sweet paradise — filled with chocolate fountains, mountains of bonbons, and joyful family fun.
