Máté and me

Be part of a unique creative process and participate in Máté Mészáros’ workshop focusing on choreography and movement! If you are interested in the world of theatre and want to step out of your comfort zone, this is the place for you!

From time to time Máté would like to meet a person with whom he can seek answers to his seemingly easy questions. And what does the stage really mean? – Where does it begin and where does it end? What is the role of costume? What can become a costume? And what can we call music? And finally, what counts as a performance?

This year at Trafó Kabin, you will have the chance to join Matthew for 20 performances between 22 October and 22 November. A workshop will last 120 minutes, where the audience can reflect with Máté on the questions posed. At the end of the process, on 25 November, Máté will host an evening for all participants who have joined the process to share the work they have created together.
