The event offers an immersive visual experience and creative storytelling that gives you a glimpse into the work of future animation stars. Come and discover the fantastic world of young artists at the Castle Garden Bazaar!

With the best Hungarian films of the last few years, we welcome all film lovers who want to breathe in the fresh air in the heart of Budapest, in a beautiful, panoramic, dog-friendly location. Before the screening, we will talk to one of the film’s creators, the director, the cinematographer or the main character, who will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the film and tell us about the preparation, the shooting and the afterlife of the film.

MOME Anim is the animation community of MOME, one of the leading creative workshops and intellectual centres of Hungarian animation. Its activities include BA and MA level animation training programmes, short professional courses, international training programmes. Beyond education, it conducts project, incubation and research activities with a focus on talent management and content development. In the context of its production activities, it realises various animation projects with national and international partners. It organises KISKAKAS animation film days, exhibitions, film screenings, conferences and professional forums. It aims to promote the successful start-up of the next generation and to explore and research the ever-expanding fields of application of animation. Its mission is to increase the recognition and success of Hungarian animation at home and abroad. A selection of MOME Anim’s latest works will be screened in the Várkert Cinema programme.
