Night of the Naples Pizzerias

On Tuesday, there are fantastic Neapolitan pizza nights awaiting you at several pizzerias in the country. If you’re a fan of the light, simple, tasty Italian speciality in the heart of Campania, made with sun-ripened tomatoes and creamy cheese, then this event is for you. The restaurants are offering great promotions and extended opening hours on both days, and of course, authentic Italian flavours.

We’ve decided to celebrate 19 September this year too: it’s the day in Naples dedicated to San Gennaro (Saint Januarius), the city’s patron saint. Religious traditions are mixed with southern beliefs, prayers are said for the martyred bishop, a procession is held and a series of festivities over several days begin. Naples goes mad, in uproar. So now we will go mad as well!
We’re baking the pride of Campania, with Hungarian “subtitles”, and on SEPTEMBER 19 we’re holding the first NAPLES PIZZERIA NIGHT event.
All participating pizzerias will be open 2-3 hours longer that night. So there will be pizzerias closing at 23:00, but you can also enjoy pizza until 02:00. It’s all about togetherness and promoting the pizza we love. If you know it well, you should give it a try, if you haven’t yet, now is the time.

Two or three types of Neapolitan pizza are on offer at 50% off at the participating Neapolitan pizzerias. Now is the time to really get to know the genre! Bring your friends, family, loved ones, neighbours. Let’s make September 19 a real national pizza celebration!
Look for pizzerias’ own events with details. One thing is for sure: the opening hours are longer than ever, and many pizzas are exactly half price on this night.
