St. Stephen’s Day

Needless to say, St Stephen’s Day cannot be missed this year either, offering a series of great events taking place between 18 and 20 August. The central event will take place on Kossuth Square, where a variety of activities will entertain visitors throughout the day on 20 August. In addition, there will be a number of great free events all over the city.

Programs on 20 August 2023:
08:00 – St Stephen’s Day Celebrations on Kossuth Square
09:00-10:00 – Air Parade over the Danube
10:00-18:00 – Free visit of the Holy Crown at the Parliament
13:30 – Award of the Order of St Stephen of Hungary
17:00 – Solemn Holy Mass and procession of the Holy Right in St. Stephen’s Basilica
21:00 -21:35 – “Play of fire and lights”
10:00-17:00 – every day from 18 to 20 August – Pannonia Boat on Kossuth Square, in front of the Parliament
