Horse Race on New Year’s Eve

The capital’s biggest outdoor New Year’s Eve party returns to Kincsem Park! The “Ügetőszilveszter/Horse Race at New Year’s Eve” has been Budapest’s popular New Year’s Eve event for more than 20 years now, so it is only natural that this year too it awaits the spectators with exciting races and a guaranteed great atmosphere. Today, however, the unique event is much more than just a day of racing at the only horse racing track in Hungary, so it’s not worth missing on the last day of the year!

The gates will open at noon sharp, with the first race starting at 13:00, and the accompanying events scheduled to run until 20:00.
Every year we strive to innovate and this year is no different!
We’ll be getting the audience in the mood for New Year’s Eve with Dixiland music starting at the entrance.
Between races, the atmosphere will be set by DJ Free in the grandstand and the Afterglow duo will be in the heated tent!
FunTV will be on the grandstand all day, LookaLike, Kisscam, Dancecam.
The equestrian experience will be enhanced by a show of the Győr Devil Riders!

During the afternoon of the race day, delicious food and drinks will be provided by the Kincsem Park Panorama Restaurant and its buffets, as well as by the Food Truck Show Hungary team.
The most prestigious race of the day will be the TIPPMIX – Riding Association Prize with the best racehorses on the course. The day will close with the greyhound races at the National Greyhound Stadium.
The sports and betting experience will be rounded off by a jackpot of millions of forints and the Kincsem+ race in the afternoon. With just a 400 HUF ticket you can enjoy the excitement of betting and racing.
