Independent Records Fair

On 23 September at the Hungarian House of Music, you can support Hungarian independent record labels at the Independent Records Fair. Here you can get first-hand access to your choice of vinyl, CD or cassette and even stumble across unique, limited edition releases. The organisers aim to promote and showcase labels with fresh and/or timeless local values, and to create an exciting fair that goes beyond the world of mainstream music.

ILF is a platform for the promotion of Hungarian independent record labels. It is Hungary’s first fair specialised in physical formats (vinyl, CD, cassette), focusing on labels with fresh and/or timeless values that go beyond the mainstream music world. You can get the releases here first hand, always directly supporting the label. Last but not least, you can also find limited edition, unique, collector’s items not available in shops.
The event, now in its sixth year, aims to give the public an overview of independent physical record publishing in the country, covering dozens of musical styles, to stimulate discussion among label managers and to support their work professionally.
