Retrowave Carnival

An evening built around familiar rhythms and well-known songs rather than concepts or trends. The carnival-themed retro party at KULT7 Erzsébetváros focuses on danceable music from the 1960s through the 1990s, creating a straightforward club night driven by recognition and atmosphere.

The program starts with a live performance by Batánovics Lili, followed by a DJ set where DJ Frank takes over and keeps the dance floor active with classic retro tracks. The transition from concert to party is smooth, with no sharp breaks — the evening gradually shifts into full dance mode.

Costumes are part of the carnival spirit, though not mandatory. Guests who choose to dress up can take part in a costume contest, adding an extra layer of interaction without changing the core focus of the night: music and dancing.

The venue, KULT7 Erzsébetváros, is a well-known cultural and club space on Király Street, suited to smaller-scale live shows and DJ nights. The setting remains intimate and informal, keeping the emphasis on the crowd rather than spectacle.
