Follow the most important moments of the UEFA Champions League and root for your favourite team at the MOL Champions Park! On June 11th, the MOL Champions Park will open its doors in the Millenáris Park, with the coolest fan zone in Buda.
The company has been present in Hungarian football since the 2000s and is still a supporter of the national football team. It is supporting talented athletes and MOL is committed to fans and aims to bring sports closer to ordinary people. That is why it awaits the whole family with children’s programs, film screenings and gaming tournaments, as well as a gastro-yard before sports broadcasts.
The MOL Champions Park in Millenáris awaits those interested from June 11, with a special fan zone during the European Football Championship. In addition to the matches, the directors will make children’s programs, sports talks, concerts and, thanks to the Hungarian Film Institute, a film screening. Fans can enjoy football matches through large projectors, and delicious snacks are provided by a real gastro-courtyard, where everyone can find delicacies to their liking. Fresh Corner is waiting for everyone from the morning, which is a perfect place to have your morning coffee. The event is completely cashless, guests can only pay with a credit card and a top-up card. On weekends, sports and family programs play a major role. The MOL Champions Park awaits everyone with outdoor sports activities on Saturdays and children’s and family programs on Sundays. The little ones can participate in children’s concerts and craft classes, but the organizers also thought of e-sports lovers to compare their skills in an exciting MOL FIFA Gamer tournament.
“It has always been a priority for us to bring competitive sports and talent that the whole country can be proud of closer to the people. Football is a real experience both as a player and a fan, and we want to involve as many people as possible so that we can support the Hungarian national team as a team, together with young and old. We are waiting for all sports fans who want to be a part of this year’s biggest sports event because together we are the biggest team! ” said Péter Pantl, Communications Director of MOL Group.
Attendance at the event is free, but is required to have an Immunity Certificate. The park is open from 2 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM to 10 PM on weekends. Exceptions are matches starting at 9 PM when the park will be open until 11 PM.
