Il Volo in Bratislava

The world-famous Italian pop-opera trio IL VOLO, consisting of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble, will come to Bratislava with an unforgettable concert to enchant the Slovak audience on the stage of Tipos Arena on December 2, 2025.

The trio gained international fame after their participation in the Italian talent show “Ti Lascio Una Canzone” in 2009. Their performance won the hearts of many and led to the release of their first album.

Il Volo are known for their unique blend of classical music and pop, which is often referred to as “popera”. They perform a mixture of original songs and cover versions of classic opera arias and pop songs.

The group has received multiple nominations for prestigious awards, including Latin Grammy Awards, and has been seen on television shows including “The Tonight Show” and “Dancing with the Stars,” and has collaborated with several well-known artists including Andrea Bocelli, Barbra Streisand, and Placido Domingo, further demonstrating their versatility and appeal across a variety of musical genres.

The Bratislava concert will be part of their tour promoting their latest album, Ad Astra (2024), which features original songs in modern arrangements while retaining the characteristic vocal power and harmony that made IL VOLO famous. Together with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, they will bring a unique audio and visual experience to Bratislava.

IL VOLO will also welcome special guests Jodok Cello and Cecille to their Bratislava concert.

JODOK CELLO (real name Jodok Vuille) is a young cellist from Switzerland who has gained enormous international attention with his charisma and distinctive style. His arrangements of well-known global hits have reached millions of listeners around the world, and he has more than 15 million followers on social media. In Bratislava, he will perform his solo set and then join the IL VOLO trio in a special duet prepared exclusively for this tour.

Another guest will be Italian singer Cecille, whose voice and distinctive musicality have captivated audiences from Europe to the USA. She has performed with Andrea Bocelli, sung for Prince Albert II of Monaco and at the White House, and her style is a combination of jazz elegance and pop delicacy. In Bratislava, she will perform in several special duets, which will add an even greater emotional dimension to the concert.

Concert organizer Rudolf Héger from the Music Production agency adds: “IL VOLO concerts are exceptional not only for their musical commitment, but also for their ability to create an atmosphere that touches every audience member. This year, they will be joined by two exceptionally talented guests who will take the whole evening to the next level.”

The IL VOLO concert in Bratislava will be a combination of Italian passion, magnificent orchestral sound, and modern artistic expression. An exceptional evening that will bring together three cultures, three styles, and one common message—music that touches the heart.
