Bratislavský meštiansky pivovar on Dunajská Street offers not only a big variety of meals, a fantastic choice of beers but also a grandiose open space with what seems unlimited seating. You can enjoy your nice and cold beer in an authentic space with a truly great atmosphere. A little tip, check out the tiles on their floor. They really do make the whole space even more unique.
Imagine a great brewery, new architecture and a fantastic view of the Danube river. Kolkovňa River Park is part of the Kolkovňa network. Breweries with a fantastic choice of beers, delicious food and a lovely environment. If you are looking for a chilled and relaxed place to enjoy a good pint Kolkovňa River Park is the place for you. They are open daily from 11:00 until midnight and can seat 122 people inside and 152 people on a terrace. And on top of it, it is pet-friendly.
Plzeňská brewery is quite the place. Are you asking why? They had the first tank beer in Slovakia and a fabulous location, right in the city center at Mostová 8. They can seat 230 people and offer only the “crème de la crème” of beer that is stored in huge, cooper tanks that are part of the interior design of the whole brewery.
If a big space with a lot of people is not your place, you might like the Čierny Pes bar a bit more. It’s a smaller, but stylish bar, which you can find in the heart of Old Town. It is a bar with a very special and cozy atmosphere and a perfect place to take a break from all the people on the streets. Since there are only about 40 spots, it can be difficult to get a table in the peak hours. We recommend you reserve a table. At Fabrika you can enjoy several types of high-quality beer. Fabrika is producing their very own Pilsner type lager, American Pale Ale, light wheat beer with a pleasant aroma or a 13°dark lager. If you prefer to have a beer that you already know, choose from the classics like Pilsner Urquell or Gambrinus. Don’t forget that you can pair up these amazing beers with delicious meals.
Can you imagine having a good beer or two and enjoying a view over the city, the Bratislava castle and the Old Town? Dunajský pivovar is a very well reconstructed boat, that houses both a lovely restaurant and a small botel. When you’ll walk into the ground floor of Dunajský Pivovar and notice huge beer tanks. These tanks filled with beer are the heart of the whole restaurant. The restaurant has huge windows and a great terrace for almost 500 people to enjoy the view and the whole atmosphere of this place, that lives and breaths good beer and great food.
Steinplats is a fairly new bar with a very original atmosphere. The concept of the bar is also something special. You see, this bar was a former public toilet. However, you would never guess that. The bar is super cozy indoors and the outdoor terrace is always covered in flowers, has a perfect location and makes for a great addition to the city. And let us not forget to mention all of the tasty beers that have on their list. Beers that Steinplats offers are from small, but quality breweries.
We can’t talk about beers and not mention Slovak Pub. With its traditional setting, of the countryside, folk cottage house, you will feel like you just time-traveled a few years back. Slovak Pub offers a good selection of beers and pairs it up with fantastic, local and traditional meals, like dumplings with sheep cheese and bacon. What a combo.
At Gorkého street you will find a spacious beer palace. You’ve read that right. Not just a brewery or a bar, but a whole beer palace. They offer a wide range of beers, great food and a lovely atmosphere. You can reserve your table online or try your luck and see whether you can get a table without one. However, if you are looking for a place to go for a good pint, Beer Palace at Gorkého might just be the right fit for you.
