An exciting international sporting event is coming to Budapest: the IIHF Women’s World Championship Division I/A will take place in spring 2026 at the Vasas Ice Center.
The Hungarian national team will compete on home ice for promotion, facing strong opponents including France, Norway, Slovakia, Italy, and China. The stakes are high, as the winner of the tournament advances to the top division.
The venue holds special significance, as Hungary earned its first-ever promotion here in 2019.
