Over the weekend of August 23–24, Vienna transforms into a rolling museum as nearly 200 vintage cars cruise past iconic sights like the Ringstraße and Donaupark.

This summer tradition—the Vienna Classic Days—blends a relaxed classic car picnic with a spectacular parade on Vienna’s Ringstrasse, creating a nostalgic, automotive celebration.

The weekend kicks off on Friday with the distribution of rally materials and a chance to mingle with fellow classic car enthusiasts. On Saturday, vehicles begin their scenic rally through Vienna and the Wienerwald, featuring time challenges and checkpoints, all culminating in an unforgettable parade along a closed Ringstrasse starting around 18:00 at Schwedenplatz. On Sunday, the old-timers continue navigating downtown Vienna, through historic sites like Heldenplatz and Michaelertor, before closing with a classic car picnic experience in Donaupark.

Highlighting the spirit of craftsmanship and elegance, the event invites participants and spectators alike to appreciate a curated mix of motoring and Viennese heritage. There’s even an \”eco twist\”: organizers pledge to plant a tree for every participating team. Whether you\’re a vintage car fan or simply enjoy charm and spectacle, this event is a standout.
