Night of Female Singers

Music, emotions, and unique voices – from April 24 to 26, 2026, Prague will host the Noc zpěvaček (Night of Female Singers) festival, bringing together outstanding Czech and Slovak artists across genres. The program will take place in two remarkable venues – Jazz Dock and the historic Velkopřevorský palác.

The festival is the largest vocal event of its kind in the Czech Republic and emphasizes the voice as a tool of communication, freedom, and shared experience. It is not about competition, but about connection, inspiration, and the joy of music. Each edition brings together strong female performers whose voices resonate across generations.

Friday’s program at Jazz Dock begins with an open vocal workshop accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. In the evening, six prominent singers will take the stage, including Naďa Válová, Marta Töpferová, and Martina Trchová. The atmosphere will also be enriched by performances from young talents in collaboration with the Magdalena Kožená Foundation.

Saturday offers a full-day multi-genre program at Velkopřevorský Palace. Visitors can join workshops focused on voice work, breathing techniques, or vocal recording, as well as attend lectures, group singing sessions, and guided tours of the historic venue. The festival then returns to Jazz Dock in the evening for another concert night.

Sunday focuses on sharing, practice, and inspiration. The program includes workshops on stage presence, a panel discussion about the life of professional singers, and a festive closing concert that brings the entire festival to a powerful finale.
