Orchid and Bromeliad Exhibition

From 9 to 12 November, the Vajdahunyad Castle will host an impressive flower exhibition. The focus of the event will be on South American orchids and bromeliads, which will be on display in many varieties, including many special specimens. The programme is brought to the public by the Hungarian Orchid Society, whose aim is to provide theoretical and practical support for the activities of members of the society who are involved in the conservation, cultivation, propagation and research of the physiological phenomena of orchid species, either as a profession or as a hobby.

The event will also feature rare orchids, bromeliads and tillandsias in a variety of flowers, colours and shapes, and will provide a fascinating close-up experience.
Always a big hit is the on-site plant fair, where you can buy orchids, bromeliads and tillandsias – even for the home – from renowned local nurseries, international plants from countries such as Ecuador and Taiwan, and accessories.
