When Vienna transforms into a vibrant stage of movement each summer, it can only mean one thing: ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival is back. From July 10 to August 10, 2025, this internationally acclaimed festival brings together dance lovers and top performers from all over the world for a month of creativity, expression, and artistic exchange.
More than 50 performances by international and Austrian dance companies will fill Vienna’s theatres, museums, and public spaces, offering audiences everything from experimental contemporary dance to boundary-pushing choreographies. Meanwhile, the Arsenal workshop center hosts over 250 dance workshops, including ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, voguing, and many more styles — open to complete beginners and professional dancers of all ages.
A unique highlight are the Public Moves, free open-air dance classes led by renowned international teachers, inviting everyone to experience the joy of movement under the summer sky.
