Under the motto “Montur und Pulverdampf”, visitors will embark on a spectacular journey through seven centuries of military history. Field camps, artillery demonstrations (salute at noon), show battles, a medieval market, handicrafts and music turn the past into an exciting experience. On both days there will be a children’s programme for brave damsels and knights! Professional cooks and serving artists will cater for body and soul. The main attractions of the programme include the “Living Chess”, the “Fire Show” and the performances of the various re-enactment groups. Admission to the festival is free for those in historical garb.
Date: Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 July 2024, from 10:00 to 20/22:00 hrs.
