You will get an insight into how churches are involved in social life today: social and charitable projects, oases in the search for meaning, platforms for the exchange of opinions and experiences, and visions of a better world, …..
The Long Night of the Churches wants to show what the church is all about and at the same time encourage people to discuss the “hot topics” (also within the church) that concern and touch people. Above all, with a self-critical look inwards: How and where can the Church, Christian and religious communities help shape the major issues of the day?
A night with a lot to experience! On 7th of June 2024, it is that time again – we invite you to the LONG NIGHT OF THE CHURCHES! Over 300 parishes and communities, Christian organisations and institutions have once again come up with a wide-ranging programme in their churches and the programme booklets will soon be hot off the press. Be sure to plan Friday, 7th June in your calendar of events, we look forward to seeing you!
