The largest and best-known Christmas market is located in front of the town hall. A large Christmas tree stands in the middle and dozens of stalls all around offer the full range of Christmas products. There are also many Advent surprises in the adjacent park. Look out for the tree with the glowing hearts, for example. This year, the market will be open until December 26.
In addition to the already well-known and popular attractions such as ice skating, Ferris wheel and carousel rides, the traditional arts and crafts stalls and inviting mulled wine and food stalls with regional and seasonal products or the fabulously decorated park, there are once again many new elements to discover in Vienna’s Christmas dream this year.
