This year, Vienna will once again host Art Advent Karlsplatz 2025, an extraordinary Christmas market in front of the baroque Karlskirche church. Instead of selling mass-produced goods, this market offers handmade art objects, original design pieces and carefully crafted handicrafts.
The market is open from 21 November to 23 December 2025, daily from 12:00 to 20:00, and admission is free for all visitors. Anyone who stops by can discover unique gifts, jewelry, ceramics, decorations and other art objects that are not industrially produced. In addition to shopping, visitors can expect a varied supporting program.
Live music, street theater, acrobatics and dance shows alternate on the stage. For children, there are attractions, carousels, workshops and interactive programs that round off the family-friendly atmosphere of the market. The gastronomy at Art Advent is special – all stalls offer certified organic food and drink, from traditional Christmas treats to vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The overall atmosphere of Art Advent is unique – the baroque backdrop of the Karlskirche, Christmas lights, live performances and artistic objects create an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
