On July 5/6, 2025, the second edition of the board game mega-event, which was launched in 1984, will take place at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV). On an area of over 20,000 m², around 200 exhibitors, partners and Austrian game clubs will once again offer a varied supporting program with over 1000 game tables as well as get-to-know and hands-on stations on the subject of games. In addition to community tournaments, trading card and tabletop games, visitors can expect numerous presentations of new products and popular classics from German-language game publishers as well as the first game prototypes from independent game designers. In Austria’s largest game library, the diverse world of games can be discovered and tried out free of charge on site. There will also be 15 food trucks in the Food Festival area of the event. Spielfest Wien takes place together with the A1Austrian eSports Festival, the digital twin of the gaming mega-event. Both event areas can be used by visitors at no extra charge.
