Adlerhof Café

It’s hard not to be amazed at what there is to discover in the new Adlerhof, which used to be a rustic pub. The interior is a journey through time, much of which has been created in collaboration with traditional Viennese businesses. The front part is a coffee house with Thonet furniture, comfortable green benches and original wallpaper from the 1960s. The roofed atrium at the back is a real eye-catcher. There is a beautiful spiral staircase here, which used to lead to the Adlerhof’s cellar and now looks like a large hanging basket.

In culinary terms, the Adlerhof focuses primarily on an extensive breakfast, which is served until 4 pm. You can also buy wonderful bread and pastries there.

This place is a truly wonderful piece of architecture hidden away on Viennese culinary scene. Reservations can for a table can be done through their website.
