Café 7Stern

The 7*Stern is a café and cultural centre. This event venue, the 7*Stern Living Room, sees itself as an open space for everyday culture, art and politics. It is not easy to realise the claim of breaking down the barriers between production and consumption of art and culture. The challenge is to deal with ideas and works collectively, to work on projects together and to develop new forms. Despite and because of this, there are concerts, readings, theatre, poetry slams, cabaret, workshops and discourse at 7*Stern.

he Café 7Stern is located in the 7th district and is, strictly speaking, an event venue for everyday culture, art and politics. In true Berlin style, you’ll find various chairs, tables of different sizes and nice seating at the bar or in the “shop window”. It is not for nothing that it is also called “the 7Star living room”, which invites you to dine, linger but also work. Relaxed background music at a pleasant volume lightens the mood in the restaurant, and in the summer it is also possible to enjoy the Schanigarten.

This place has been a legend among backpack-wearing laptop nomads since…well, since it first opened. It has a vintage, distinctive charm that has aged nicely, and it is comfortable. The service is relaxed and pleasant, and there is plenty of table space for anyone seeking to set up an office or study room for a few hours.

The fantastic coffee and brunch options are also to die for.
