Spa City Baden

This historical spa city is a perfect place for all people who enjoy the imperial flair of Vienna but would also like to see some new and interesting sights. This city is mostly known for its rich history and thermal spas which provide plenty of wellness procedures to help you relax and enjoy a stress-free day. In the summer months, the biggest open-air sand Strandbad in Austria is also open.

If you’d like to spend your day strolling through the streets of this city there are plenty of little cafés, intriguing and one-of-a-kind stores selling handmade and traditional products as well as restaurants offering the best Austrian food. To get to Baden you may take a car or experience a ride with the famous blue-white Badener Bahn (a tram ride) which will take you directly to the centre of Baden from any of the tram stops on the way there. The route of this tram starts at the tram station in front of State Opera in the Vienna city centre, where you will have to buy a ticket valid only on this route. If you have a ticket valid for the core districts of Vienna, there is a chance to buy a reduced ticket which covers only the tram ride not included in the core district area.
