The Tündérkert in Soroksár is preparing various Halloween programs for families. Among other things, a fire and leg juggling show, wooden toys, a photo corner and a labyrinth await visitors on October 29. The organizers also prepare concerts and dance performances for the younger ones.
Hiperkarma will hold its iconic Halloween concert again this year. On October 31st, one of the most popular alternative bands of the Hungarian music scene will come to the City Park Bazaar stage for a wild costume concert. In addition, the audience will have the chance to see Rebeka Baka and Péter Sziámi Müller as guest performers.
If you want to spend the 31st at a terrifyingly good party, then the Hall of Horrors is the place for you. Equipped with blood-curdling decorations, interactive show elements and undercover artists, the Railway History Museum awaits the largest hall festival in Central Europe. What’s more, even the excellent disc jockeys will start the mood of the evening as the living dead.
Halloween programs are not left behind in Aquaworld either, as they are preparing an exciting evening event on October 29. You can choose from a wide selection of jacuzzis, experience and wave pools and giant slides, which will be complemented by fire jugglers and a dance show. The spooky evening will include a zombie dance show and face and water painting as well, what’s more, great music will be provided by DJ Wlas.
If you would like to celebrate Halloween with your pets, the Blöki Bar Dog Carnival can be a great choice for you. On October 22nd, you can test yourselves with your pets at the skills competition or enter an adorable costume competition. At the event, you can learn about trick learning methods from an expert, or you can look through the useful bits and pieces of the numerous exhibitors.
This year you can also spend Halloween in the city of Hawkins, at a Stranger Things themed 80s/retrowave party organized by Analog Music Hall. During the evening, the iconic music of the series and many other hits will be played by Quixotic. A huge retro party and costume contest is waiting for you on the 31st at the Upside Down!
Between October 29th and November 1st, the Children’s Railway will set off on an exciting journey from its terminus in Hűvösvölgy. The Halloween Expressz tries to reach the paradise of children with a sweet tooth, during which many treats and gifts await travelers. During the trip, which starts four times a day, mystical creatures will also cross the road, which the bravest will be able to chase away with their pumpkin lanterns.
The National Circus is expanding its program for Halloween between October 28 and November 1.
In addition to the circus, Hungary’s largest traveling circus company is also preparing thematic programs and many extras this time. There will also be a costume contest and an open stage visit, and we can see our favorite performers painted and dressed in interesting costumes.
In the Elte Botanical Garden on October 28, we can take part in various programs in tune with the holiday. The organizers are preparing a number of programs for children, including crafts, witch tea tasting, vampire hunting and broom riding. You can also take part in a guided walk in the Pálmaház or enter a pumpkin beauty contest, but you can also expect a lot of surprise programs.
Of course, let’s not forget about the Pumpkin Lantern Festival, which will be held on October 29. We can gather at Heroes’ Square and look at each other’s carved pumpkin lanterns as part of a truly atmospheric event. The purpose of the festival is not only to cheer up the life at the square, but also to collect donations for the Children’s Nutrition Foundation.
