Sauska Cellar Tour Valentine

On February 13, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM in Budapest’s Budafok district, at the Sauska Sparkling Wine Cellar, a guided cellar tour invites visitors to explore the world of traditional sparkling wines.

The 90-minute guided tour, held in Hungarian and led by Mónika Markó, introduces guests to the history of the cellar, the Budafok wine cellar system, and the process of producing méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines. Beyond winemaking techniques, the program also touches on the positive effects of sparkling wine consumption on wellness and beauty.

The experience includes a tasting of four traditional sparkling wines, featuring the cellar’s Rosé, Rosé Extra Brut and Extra Dry selections, as well as the gold medal-winning Sauska Brut Magnum from the London Sparkling Wine Championships.

The tour starts punctually; late arrivals cannot join after departure. Due to cellar conditions, comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for a 13°C cellar temperature are recommended. The tour is not suitable for small children, visitors with strollers, or those sensitive to light and sound. Alcohol is not served to anyone under 18.
