If there’s an event that blends passion, movement, community, and nighttime energy into one unforgettable experience, it’s the Budapest Summer Social. For the very first time, the team behind Bachata Sensual – Hungary is hosting an international bachata dance congress in Budapest—three days and three nights filled with world-class workshops, social dancing, and an atmosphere that goes far beyond a hobby. This is a celebration for those who live and breathe dance.
The festival brings together internationally recognized instructors and performers: among the headline guests are Ataca & Alemana from the United States, El Tiguere & Bianca from the Dominican Republic, and Dario & Sara and Evelyn La Negra from Spain. Representing Hungary will be respected names like Peter Hollosi, Brumi & Rita, and Gabesz & Réka, among others. In addition to the daytime workshops, the program includes late-night parties, evening sessions, and even a live concert by Herceg, one of Hungary’s most popular bachata and reggaeton artists.
Each venue adds to the experience: daytime workshops will be held at the Lurdy Conference and Event Center, while the evening events take place at MTA-MMSZ. Attendees can choose between two passes: the Full Pass, which includes access to all workshops and parties from Friday to Sunday, or the Party Pass, which covers the evening events and late-night sessions. It’s important to note that single-day or party-only tickets will not be available—organizers are inviting guests to experience the event in its entirety.
The mood will be elevated not only by the dancers but also by an international lineup of top DJs, including DJ Husky, DJ Tiguere, DJ La Negra, and several well-known Hungarian names. Professional photographers and videographers will capture the moments, ensuring that every step and every smile is remembered. Video and photo recordings will be taken throughout the weekend, and all guests will be informed accordingly—participation in recordings is entirely voluntary.
Budapest Summer Social is not just a dance event—it’s a space where people connect across borders, languages, and cultures through movement. This three-day gathering is a festival of both body and soul—intense, rhythmic, and deeply inspiring.
Date and time: August 22–25, 2025, Friday to Monday
Location: MTA-MMSZ and Lurdy Conference and Event Center, Budapest
Ticket prices: Full Pass from 31,500 HUF | Party Pass from 24,000 HUF (prices increase gradually, up to 55,500 HUF at the door)
