One of Budapest’s most popular autumn gardening events, Őszkert 2026 – Autumn Gardening Days, will welcome visitors interested in nature and plants between October 9 and 11 at the MATE Budai Campus, both in the outdoor parking area and indoor venues.
At the Villányi Street event, visitors can explore a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants from local nurseries, meet producers and eco-friendly designers, and enjoy gardening lectures, expert consultations, guided arboretum walks, and visits to the organic garden. A variety of accompanying programs — including a Bonsai Chamber Exhibition, an indoor “Urban Jungle” houseplant show, and activities for children — will make the three days even more colorful.
The aim of the event is to showcase the diversity of autumn gardens, inspire gardening enthusiasts, and provide a platform for professional exchange and inspiration. Visitors can discover the latest plant varieties, ornamental species, and horticultural solutions while enjoying the unique autumn atmosphere of the Budai Arboretum.
The ticket price includes admission to the Bonsai Chamber Exhibition and the indoor “Urban Jungle” houseplant show, participation in guided arboretum walks (held daily at 11:00 and 15:00), raised-bed gardening workshops, expert consultations, gardening lectures, and discount vouchers for Oázis Garden Centers.
The Tavaszkert Autumn Gardening Days is an ideal program for all ages – hobby gardeners, professionals, and families alike will find activities and inspiration to enjoy.
