Jodok Vuille, known worldwide as JodokCello, was born in Switzerland, in the hills of Emmental, and grew up surrounded by nature and its sounds. He began playing the cello at the age of six, and it has been his voice ever since. While studying at the Lucerne University of Music, JodokCello not only perfected his skills, but also made his own cello – an instrument he still uses in his performances today.
The musician who conquered the Alps boldly combines the lightness of Johann Sebastian Bach with the emotional tension of film music, popular music, and electronic sound, creating a new, unique style that transcends genre boundaries.
