An immortal love story that spans centuries comes to life on the stage of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet in the form of an impressive ballet epic.
🧑❤️💋👩 The young and pure love of Romeo and Juliet defies the enmity of their families and the adversity of fate.
Shakespeare’s verses, imbued with emotion and passion, are transformed into movement – words are transformed into dance, which tells a timeless love story in a gentle and precise choreography.
The powerful emotional depth of the production is underscored by Sergei Prokofiev’s music, one of the most captivating ballet opuses of the 20th century.
The choreography was created by Nina Poláková and Jakob Feyferlik, with Jordi Roig responsible for the visual design.
The overall atmosphere of this spectacular production, with choreography by Nina Poláková and Jakob Feyferlik, is complemented by gilded arcades and sumptuous period costumes designed by Jordi Roig.
