L’Etape Slovakia is the official Slovak stop of the international series L’Étape by Tour de France – a cult amateur cycling event that allows ordinary cyclists to experience the atmosphere of the Tour de France firsthand.
L’Etape Slovakia takes place in professional Tour de France conditions with top-notch support. It is a competitive event for amateur riders and at the same time provides a safe and pleasant traffic-free environment for others who would like to discover Slovak roads and complete this magical route.
🚴♂️ What is L’Etape Slovakia?
A cycling race designed for amateurs. It is ridden on routes that imitate the stages of the Tour de France, but take place in various countries around the world, including Slovakia.
Available routes:
THE RACE: a long route of 112km with an elevation gain of 1700m
THE RIDE: a shorter route of 60km with an elevation gain of 900m

Route and environment:
It starts in the center of Bratislava, the route leads through the forests of the Little Carpathians, the surrounding Záhorie or wine-growing villages and historical sites, and ends with the iconic climb to Kamzík above the city.

You will experience the atmosphere of the Tour de France in Slovak conditions, technical services, closed roads, refreshment stations, medical assistance, electronic timing, accompanying activities are available.
