Workshop of traditional Slovak and Ukrainian embroidery, which is loosely based on Daniela Krajčová’s art project Obrúsok/Cерветка/Servetka.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced students.
Obrúsok/Cерветка/Servetka was the project of Daniela Krajčová, winner of the 2020 Oskar Čepan Prize. A series of workshops that offered Ukrainian women moments of peace, understanding and togetherness.
Daniela Krajčová’s original linocuts became the basis for the self-expression of the participating women, based on traditional Ukrainian embroidery.
Daniela Krajčová’s work combines the artistic techniques of drawing, animation and installation with participatory and collaborative practices. She imbues artistic means of expression with universally sensitizing stories, which she presents without generalizing and without losing the dignity and uniqueness of each participant’s voice.

Free admission from 16.00 to 18.00.
