The twenty-sixth night full of architecture, urbanism, and design. The Night of Architecture and Design is a student project that showcases the most interesting work created at the faculty over the last semester.
The faculty premises will open on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. The building will be transformed into a gallery presenting the studio work of students created during the winter semester.
It is a multi-genre platform that provides an insight into the center of events at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of STU.
Design for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Conference

The conference focuses on the European Framework for Architecture and Design Education for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with the aim of creating a more inclusive Europe.
Student Work Exhibition

The semester work of FAD STU students will be exhibited on all floors of the building.

A sales market of original products in the author’s design of the faculty’s students can be found next to the Kolečko café on the ground floor.
Lecture and book presentation: A Smartly Growing City

A lecture on a new book, edited by Juraj Benetín Compass Architekti with Miroslava Argalášová and Martin Jenča, will present a vision of Bratislava as a polycentric city, where life does not take place only in the center, but across the entire territory.
Lecture by Akio Sasso: The Potential of Small Japanese Architecture

Traveling tea pavilions by Terunobu Fujimori and other contemporary Japanese architects offer a unique perspective on scale, tradition and experiment in architecture. The lecture by Akio Sasso, a teacher at the ENSA School of Architecture in Marseille, will focus on small architectural forms, their cultural context and their ability to create a strong spatial experience. Sassa, together with his wife Roberta Borghi, is part of the architectural studio Bossa. The lecture will be held in English without translation.

What does the journey from school to an international design team look like? The presentation by FAD STU graduates Matej Dubiš, Leya Turzáková, Petra Debnárová and Stanislav Saba working at Škoda Design will introduce processes, visions and real experiences from the automotive design environment.
Discussion: Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Design

How is AI changing the way we design, think and create products? The presentations and the subsequent discussion will bring insights from practice and reflect on current trends in industrial design. The discussion will be led by Peter Olah, Michal Jelínek, Vladimír Boroň and Peter Levársky, moderated by Michala Lipková.
Discussion on the film Public Service and the publication launch of the Ram of Imagination

A Handbook of Urban Disobedience. Discussion with director Vladimír Turner, Henrieta Moravčíková and Ilona Németh will be moderated by Ivana Rumanová. The publication (Vladimír Turner (Ed.), UTOPIA LIBRI, 2026) presents an eclectic selection of visual materials, instructions, manifestos, interviews, short stories, poetry and historical reflections on the last decades of the creative maladjustment of the new urban avant-garde.

Vladimír Turner’s feature-length debut is a film essay about art in public space, civic engagement and the possibilities of creative intervention in an increasingly controlled urban environment.
Berlin Manson

A chamber concert by two members of the Berlin Manson band will directly follow the premiere of the film Public Service.
Overnight Stay
22:00 – 03:00 / New Market – Trnavské mýto /
This year’s Overnight Stay is undergoing a transformation. Instead of the traditional afterparty, the headliner will be the New Market at Trnavské mýto by Ivan Matušík, which we will fill not only with music. Spatial installations, light, and a midnight architectural excursion through the market hall are exactly what one would expect from a headliner. He will also offer us market furniture and a few market vendors, which must be a given in such a space.
