If there is just one thing that all of us may realize thanks to the pandemic, it is the fact that science is essential, even in our everyday lives. Only thanks to the work of scientists and researchers we knew how to minimalize the spreading of the virus. Credit for vaccination goes to them, too. Logically, they deserve our respect and admiration, but how does it really look like in our country? Do we trust our scientists? What we have learned thanks to the pandemic? Why is there a higher probability of a scientist being offended than admired in our country? What is the future of science here? What we are supposed to do to stop brain drain?
