Love Is My Home | Recording Techniques

Is your shelf crooked? Are you curious about how different types of drills work, or which screws and nails to use in different situations? Would you like to gain the knowledge you need to confidently tackle home repair and renovation projects?

Try this workshop, where you can learn the basics of various home renovation and repair processes in a fun atmosphere! The trained instructors have been renovating homes for those in need for years, with the help of volunteers. Drawing on the practical and theoretical knowledge they’ve gained, they’ll show you the tricks and pitfalls of projects that even beginners can tackle, so you’ll be prepared and able to get started safely at home!

The October workshop will focus on mounting techniques: you’ll learn how to securely and stably mount a shelf, picture, or even a mirror on various surfaces. You’ll get to try out the necessary tools and methods (such as using drills, drill bits, screws, nails, or even adhesives), so you’ll be able to put the practical knowledge you gain to use right away at home!

If you don’t have any prior knowledge, don’t worry—they have designed these workshops specifically for beginners in home renovation.

The minimum age for the workshop is 16, and the maximum number of participants is 10.
