Body Worlds Exhibition

  • Budapest events, What to do in Budapest
  • 2900-5600 Ft

You could have already seen many exhibitions in Budapest, the central theme of which was the human body, but this time the original Body Worlds exhibition will be available in the two exhibition spaces of Etele Plaza. The fascinating exhibition informs us about anatomy, physiology and health, all through real human bodies (preserved through the plastination process). Interested parties can visit the world’s most successful exhibition between November 16 and February 19.

The procedure and the BODYWORLDS exhibition itself were invented in 1977 by Prof. Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who worked as an anatomist at the University of Heidelberg. We have seen the professor’s show and teachings on the BBC channels for years, and since then it has been included in the curriculum of the most famous medical universities. The original exhibition was completed in 1995 and since then, more than 50 million visitors have been able to see it in 90 major cities in Asia, Europe, America and Africa. Of course, since then, it has been expanding, polishing, shaping and dazzling its audience every year. This is how BODY WORLDS became the most successful exhibition in the world, which has now finally arrived in Budapest. On the third floor of ETELE PLAZA, on more than 1,200 m2 – in two exhibition spaces – it shows how complicated, but at the same time, a perfectly created world the human body is.
