There is something special about watching a movie outdoors on a warm summer evening. On June 19, the popular PikNik Mozi returns to Budapest, transforming the ESMTK football field in Pesterzsébet into an open-air cinema with a giant screen more than 9 metres wide.

This time, visitors can enjoy Wonka, the visually stunning adventure film starring Timothée Chalamet. The movie tells the story of the young Willy Wonka before he became the world-famous chocolatier, combining imagination, music, humour and plenty of magical moments along the way.

Gates open at 6:00 PM, giving visitors plenty of time to find a good spot, relax and enjoy the atmosphere before the screening begins. The movie is scheduled to start after sunset, at approximately 8:45 PM.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and settle onto the grass for the full picnic-cinema experience. Snacks and drinks can also be purchased at the on-site buffet for those who prefer not to bring their own.

Best of all, the event is completely free, making it a great choice for families, groups of friends or anyone looking for a relaxed summer evening in Budapest.
