Ich muss durch den Monsun – In 2025, Tokio Hotel will finally return to Sweden. It will be the first time in six years that the seminal band will play in Stockholm.

Armed with anime aesthetics and electro-pop punk, Tokio Hotel created fan madness time and time again in the 00s. With top songs like ‘Monsoon’, ‘Scream’ and ‘Automatic’, they owned the charts and picked up award after award at MTV galas around the world. The German band sold out major concerts and the Kaulitz twins were accurate style icons for a generation of emo fans.

15 years after their breakthrough, Tokio Hotel released ‘Durch den Monsun 2020′ – a new version of the global megahit that launched their career, including a live performance in front of 500,000 people at the Eiffel Tower on French National Day. The starting point for the band was: What would it sound like if we debuted today? The result was a driving beat, wrapped in soft guitars, creating a completely different setting for the legendary lyrics that have been screamed in girls’ rooms, concerts and after-parties for over a decade.

‘Durch den Monsun 2020’ was both a nostalgic tribute to the past and a premonition of the future, because it was the start of something new. With the album ‘2001’, released in November 2022, Tokio Hotel took a new direction. The approach was poppier and more danceable, while song titles such as ‘HIM’ and ‘When We Were Younger’ clearly indicated the band’s origins.

With “2001” behind them, the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer are going on tour again. Thus, we once again get the chance to experience the band that shaped both life and its time. On March 30, 2025, Tokio Hotel will come to Fryshuset Arenan – the same place where they delivered two unforgettable concerts in 2017 and 2019.
