Megadeth and Soilwork

Icons, legends, pioneers. It’s now over 30 years since Dave Mustaine founded Megadeth – the band that helped create the groundbreaking sound we now call thrash metal. From the very beginning, it was clear that Megadeth stood out on the heavy music scene, demonstrating their musical ferocity with songs like “Killing Is My Business… And Business Is Good!” (1985) and “Seminal Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?” (1986). Since then, Megadeth has inspired generations of new metal bands, while constantly moving forward themselves.

Although the band has undergone several line-up changes since their debut in the 80s, Megadeth still continues to rock the world with new music and tours. Today they consist of James LoMenzo – bass, Kiko Louriero – guitar, Dirk Verbeuren – drums and original member Dave Mustaine on vocals and guitar. Look forward to powerful guitar riffs, technical solos, intense drumming and experience one of the metal world’s most respected and influential bands.

Warm up your ears and neck, because here comes a whole evening filled with great music and headbanging!

The evening begins with Soilwork. This will be a fond reunion in the Annex, as Megadeth’s current drummer Dirk Verbeuren was previously in Soilwork. Last year, Soilwork released the full-length “Övergivenheten”, which was hailed by GAFFA as the band’s best album in many years.
