Tramway day

On May 28, it’s finally time for Tram Day! The day begins with a tram parade at Norrmalmstorg from 11 am, where we tell you about the different types of trams that pass by.

After that, Regional Transport Minister Anton Fendert will give a speech at 11:30.

Come in period clothes to Norrmalmstorg! Between 11 and 12, we will judge how you have succeeded, and select 3 lucky winners who will get their own tram to use for a few hours this fall! Our wagons reflect the era from the beginning of the 20th century until 1967, so there are plenty of opportunities to choose your outfit!

From 12 to 16 we open the doors to the carriage hall, which is filled with good neighbors from Djurgården!

In the carriage hall you will find, among other things, the tramway cafe, tip walk, and Spårvägen’s honorary music corps.

At 13:00 Anton Fendert participates with a longer speech.

Between 12 and 16, you can also take the opportunity to ride the veteran bus H15 from 1947, which runs between Skansen and Karlaplan!
