The worldwide band The Cure comes to Sweden to perform 2 amazing concerts – in Stockholm and Göteborg. If you are a fan of this group or you love alternative music, then this is the right way to spend your evening.

THE CURE COMES TO SWEDEN FOR TWO ARENA SHOWS

They have released thirteen albums, sold over 30 million records, won numerous awards and toured the world. In 2019, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and there is no doubt that The Cure are one of the most influential bands of all time. After a long wait, the band can finally announce that they are heading out on the “Cure Tour Euro 22” – with two stops in Sweden! On 10 October they will be at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm and on 13 October at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg!

In the spring of 1979, The Cure released their debut album “Three Imaginary Boys”, which was very well received by critics and listeners. While the band began touring, the songs “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Jumping Someone Else’s Train” were released. Since then, songs like “Just Like Heaven”, “Lovesong”, “Close To Me” and “Friday I’m In Love” have continued to grow their fan base worldwide.

The Cure were one of the first alternative bands to hit the charts and achieve commercial success in an era when alternative rock had yet to establish itself. Led by guitarist and singer Robert Smith, the band remained a popular draw throughout the 1990s, selling millions of records.

The Cure have been awarded a variety of prizes over the years, including two Brit Awards for “Best British Video” with “Lullaby” in 1990 and “Best British Group” in 1991. In 2019, the band celebrated their 40th anniversary and released “40 Live: CURÆTION-25 + Anniversary”, a live album of their performances at Meltdown and Hyde Park in 2018 in its entirety.
