PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA IN THE GREEN

It is once again time for a folk festival! The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at Gärdet with concert hall director Stefan Forsberg and brilliant guest artists. Bring your picnic basket!

The concert in front of the Maritime Museum on Gärdet has been an appreciated summer tradition for decades, always very popular and well attended. Singing and children’s activities are usually other ingredients during the day, which for many is a “must” in Summer Stockholm. Concert Hall Director Stefan Forsberg is the host.

Guest artists this time are the couple David Lindgren and Kristina Lindgren, both stars of the Swedish music and musical scene. David Lindgren broke through to the general public in Melodifestivalen 2012, and has since been seen both as a performer and presenter. Kristina Lindgren has played a number of high-profile musical roles throughout the country. The couple has shared the stage on many occasions in the past, such as in Saturday Night Fever at Chinateatern last year.

Please arrive in good time. The concert hall opens the area at 11.00 with children’s activities in our tent. Bring a picnic basket or buy food and drinks on site in the area’s restaurant.
