2024 will be a “Winnerbäck summer” when Lasse embarks on a major tour to beautiful castles, large arenas and fine festivals in Sweden and Norway. From north to south via Gotland, Piteå and Bergen.
Neutronstjärnan is the name of Winnerbäck’s latest album, released in late summer 2023. An album created together with Kent’s Joakim Berg and Martin Sköld. Lasse’s lyrics capture with usual precision what it’s like to be a human being in this country while being framed by a melancholy soundscape unmistakably signed by Berg and Sköld. A situation report from a country where spring seems to refuse to come. Or maybe it’s just around the corner.
The audience and critics embraced the latest album with open arms. The Neutron star has sold gold and Lars Winnerbäck has been nominated for “Song Quote of the Year” at P3 Guld. All songs on the album ended up in Spotify’s Top 50, both P3 and P4 put songs on rotation and the album was the most listened to in Sweden for weeks.
A major tour with Lars Winnerbäck awaits in the summer of 2024. It will be a real “Winnerbäck summer”. Under the open sky.

About Lars Winnerbäck:
For more than 25 years, Lars Winnerbäck has brought Swedish melancholy to the stage and put words to the emotions of an entire generation. On fourteen studio albums, he has created his own clearly recognizable language and coined perhaps the most Swedish word we have: dental weather.
Winnerbäck’s debut album was released in 1996 and over the years he has won several Grammis (lyricist of the year, pop/rock of the year, album of the year, live artist of the year, song of the year and more), won several P3 Guld awards (artist of the year, Guldmicken and more), and sold both gold and platinum.
